When you sign up with the Blogsvertise network, you will be given the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of types of advertising campaigns using your blog site(s). You can choose to open your blog up to every type of sponsorship or focus on just one or two ad types. No matter what you decide, we will do our very best to match you up with advertisers whose products or services are a good fit for your vertical, audience and demographics.

Below, you'll find a little information about each type of ad so you know what to expect when you receive offers from us.

    Our Monitization Methods

Advertorials: Paid content and guest posting have always been a popular offering. When you receive an advertorial task from us, it will come with the advertiser's url and some background information about the advertiser. From there, we ask that you construct unique, relevant content that talks about the advertiser's website. In keeping with the FTC's regulations for ad revenue generating bloggers, we require that you maintain a prominent disclosure page on your site or disclose that you are being compensated for your work within the content itself.

Social Media Ads: Facebook and Twitter are incredibly popular social networking sites, and many of our advertisers have expressed an interest in purchasing social media add-ons when they order advertorial content. If you are selected for one of these orders, you will be asked to “like” and share the Facebook page or “tweet” a url or hashtag to promote his or her website business. The offers you receive will contain all the information you need to create your content and meet the additional requirements of the task.

Display Ads: Otherwise known as banner ads or text link display advertising is an option that allows advertisers to purchase a block of space on your site. If you choose to accept these ads, you will be given a small piece of javascript code to install on the template of your blog to deliver and track the ads. Note this offering is a traditional method many media buyers seek. These ads are for traffic and clicks onlyWhen an advertiser wishes to buy that space, we will notify you so that you can accept or decline the request. If you accept, the banner or text link will appear on your site and you will be paid on a monthly basis for as long as the customer continues.

CPA/Pay-Per-Action: When you accept a PPC or CPA task, you are asked to use a specific tracking link on your site that both allows your readers to visit the advertiser's webpage and also lets us know when they click or sign up for something there. If it is a pay-per-click task, you will be compensated for every time someone clicks on the link. If it is a lead generation or pay-per-action task, you will be paid for each time your readers complete a specific action like signing up for a free trial, making a purchase, or subscribing to a newsletter.

Remember, you can opt in or out of each type of ad, and it's up to you to decide whether you want to use follow or no-follow ads (or accept both of them). In general we recommend you opt for traffic only "no follow" only ads where the advertiser only receives buzz, brand awareness, word of mouth effects, and clicks.  You also retain full control over which specific advertisers will be advertised on your site. Our dedicated staff can act on your behalf as your ad agency, handle billing, sales, and customer service, so you can reap all the rewards of blogging for pay without worrying about marketing yourself, finding clients, or processing payments. We are always recruiting enthusiastic, high-quality bloggers, so sign up today and see what you can do with Blogsvertise!
